‘A Grand Idea’ Winner!!!

Congratulations to Tulip Radio, the winners of the Ringrose Law ‘A Grand Idea’ for Boston & Spalding.

Tulip Radio entered into the A Grand Idea project in July and after a month of public voting, has won the £1,000 to go towards their Radio Station and the fantastic work they do in the community. On hearing the great news, Jan Whitbourn – Business Manager commented;

“We worked very hard on the project and I have to say it was a lot of fun getting the community involved,  the students worked hard and enjoyed putting together some Newsletters/flyers and organising Twitter, Facebook and sending out emails, asking everyone to please vote Tulip Radio.  Having seen our competitors we were absolutely amazed that Tulip Radio won over such amazing competition and businesses, I feel we all deserved to win.

It has been great working with Ringrose Law on this project and we can only thank you for the opportunity and also a very BIG thank you to all the people in the community for believing in us, backing us and taking the time to go on line and vote Tulip Radio”

The project ‘A Grand Idea’, was first launched 2013 and has proven to be extremely popular since.

Victoria Berry, Business Development Assistant at Ringrose Law comments;

“We had some fantastic entries from Boston, Spalding and surrounding villages, all such very worthy causes. After short listing the top five projects we opened up a public vote, which really was neck and neck until the very last second! We are delighted that Tulip Radio has won.

Ringrose Law has long supported the local community and given to charity; “We are always keen to engage with the community whenever we can and support a wide variety of sports teams, charities and local community projects across Lincolnshire and Newark.

This year we really want to make an impact in our community and leave a lasting legacy which will benefit lots of people for years to come. A Grand Idea offers every local project, however big or small, the chance to enter into this fantastic opportunity of winning £1,000.”

A Grand Idea will be continuing into 2016. If any community project or charity would like to send an application in go to www.ringroselaw.co.uk/agrandidea for further information.
