It was refreshing to note on the family law hub that there was a Parliamentary briefing (which can be located here) regarding what is parental responsibility, how it is gained and lost. This will be particularly helpful for lay client perhaps a refresher for lawyers working within the family and children arena.
It is quite detailed and easy to read. There are so many misconceptions about what parental responsibility entails and what it means. It explains what parental responsibility and how this diminishes age the child/ren get older. As a children/family lawyer I found this to be very helpful in explaining to lay clients this concept of parental responsibility.
