Tony Freitas, Criminal Solicitor at Ringrose Law, recently represented a young man accused of aiding and abetting another person to drive a car whilst disqualified from driving, and aiding and abetting the same person to drive a car without insurance.
Tony’s client had always maintained that the driver had misled him into believing he had a valid driving licence, and a valid insurance policy. Tony made written representations to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) about this, and was even able to provide a statement from the driver confirming the same. As a result of Tony’s hard work and determination, the case against his client was discontinued.
