Company History

Our firm began as Grocock and Staniland which was founded before 1900. It merged with Frost Gunning and Co and became Ringrose and Co. In May 1999 Ringrose & Co and the Lincoln based Adie Pickwell merged. With the addition of David Hitchcock & Co from Sleaford in the summer of 1999 the group had strong representation in South Lincolnshire and became known as The Ringrose Law Group. In 2005 the Group was joined by the Grantham based firm of Nortons. In 2006 we took over Langleys criminal department and these moves have led to Ringrose Law being one of the leading providers of legal services in Lincolnshire employing over 120 people and with offices in Boston, North Hykeham, Sleaford, Lincoln, Grantham, Newark and Spalding.

We have grown significantly over the past few years and we are now able to offer high quality Commercial advice in Employment, Property, Litigation and all aspects of contract law. For private clients we have a real depth in expertise of Home Buying and Selling, Matrimonial and other Family matters as well as a strong Will Writing and Probate department.

Our greatest strength is our staff of which around half are lawyers or paralegals. We are accredited with LEXCEL and Investors in People, both of which are nationally recognised standards that prove the quality of our service and our commitment to the continual education, training and improvement of our staff. Our Conveyancing department has also been awarded a Centre of National Excellence status for our bulk work.

We hold Community Legal Service Franchises in the major categories of Family, Crime and Mental Health.
