If an Interim Care Order is granted, Social Services share Parental Responsibility with the parent or carer, which includes the power to decide where the child will live even if you don’t agree with the decision. The Court must be satisfied that there are good reasons to believe that the child has been seriously harmed or is likely to be seriously harmed and that the making of an Order is the best thing for the child.
