Final Hearing

At the end of the case the Court has the power to convert any of the Interim Orders into Full Orders.

The Court can only make a Care or Supervision Order if it believes that the ‘threshold criteria’ has been reached. The threshold criteria means that:

  • Your child has been seriously harmed or is at risk of being seriously harmed in the future and
  • This harm is because of the care that you have given your child or because your child is out of control

The Court after hearing all of the evidence gathered has the power to make one of the following orders:

  • Supervision Order
  • Care Order
  • Residence Order
  • Contact Order
