How much will it cost?
We appreciate clients like to keep costs under control and know from the start how much their case will cost. For this reason, we try where possible to offer representation for a fixed fee. If it is not possible to agree a fixed fee, then we can discuss and explain this at our first meeting.
These are an example of our fixed fees for representation at Lincolnshire Courts. Of course, we have to charge more for travel but find this is beneficial to you, the client, to ensure continuity of service.

Motoring Offences Fees – Magistrates Court – Guilty plea/exceptional hardship argument
Our fixed fees for a summary only motoring offence heard at Boston or Lincoln Magistrates Courts, which is dealt with at a single hearing, (including if your case is adjourned for a sentencing hearing on a different date), are as follows
Head of Department / Partner – £600 plus VAT
Senior Solicitor – £475 plus VAT
Solicitor – £350 plus VAT
Price Includes
Initial telephone conference to obtain instructions and provide preliminary advice in respect of plea
All communication with Police, CPS and Courts
Consideration of evidence and file of papers
Representation at the Magistrates Court
All communication with you, including as to the outcome of your hearing
Advice on appeal if appropriate
Price does not Include
Taking statements from witnesses
Instruction of experts or preparation of reports
Not Guilty Pleas (see below)
Acting for you on appeal if appropriate
The cost of travelling to any court other than Boston or Lincoln Magistrates will be charged at 45p per mile plus VAT, and £50 per hour plus VAT from the relevant office.
Full payment must be made prior to any hearing date

Solicitor – £750 plus VAT
