We are pleased to announce our Charity of the Year 2013 is the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a dedicated medical air service which first began operations in Lincolnshire in April 1994 and every year since fly’s approximately 1,000 missions a year.

Each year we commit to supporting a local charity for our Charity of the Year, and this year we chose to support the air ambulance.

“The Air Ambulance is a charity very close to our hearts. It is such a vital resource for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and it does such amazing work across the County where we all live and work. We are delighted that the Air Ambulance is our Charity of the Year and have already started to raise lots of money.” Comments Alex Gray, Marketing Manager

“Fundraising includes cake bakes in the offices, dress down Fridays and staff quiz nights, so we make sure we bring the ‘fun’ into our fundraising!”

Last year we took part in the Million Makers Project with the Princes Trust and raised over £6,000 for the Princes Trust, supporting young disadvantaged adults across the UK.

This year, as well as raising money for the Air Ambulance, we launched ‘A Grand Idea’ and will be giving away £1,000 each to six different community projects across Lincolnshire and Newark.
