Vicky Smith is a Family and Children Solicitor in the family department at Ringrose Law.
Vicky gained a Law Degree at Sheffield Hallam University prior to commencing employment with Ringrose Law in June 2003. Vicky has been employed by Ringrose Law to date, successfully completing her Training Contract and qualifying as a Solicitor in October 2005. Since this time Vicky has dealt with a full range of Family and Children cases, specifically focusing on Childcare work. Vicky successfully gained her Children Panel status in 2010.
Over the last couple of years Vicky’s work has become more specialist involving international children abduction cases in the High Court in London. Vicky has experience of cases with a foreign element including Wardship and cases involving the Hague Convention 1980.
In addition to this Vicky specialises in advising non-British citizens who are living in the UK and require advice and representation in order to protect and safeguard the living arrangements of children who are now living in the UK.
This is a very broad area of Law but also a very specialist one, in order to ensure families do not end up facing child abduction cases in the High Court in London.
