Death, is not an easy topic to discuss with your family and a recent survey indicated that very few people actually do have a conversation on this subject. Yet, we are all going to die and your family’s will be reassured to some extent if they know your wishes at your death, for example, do you want to be buried or cremated? Would you like a religious service at your funeral or not? Without this information your family will have to guess your requirements and may be left with an uneasy thought that whatever they did was not what you would have wanted. Such information can be inserted in your Will.

This week is Dying Matters Week and there are many events going on throughout the County which will bring some support to those who are dealing with difficult times.

If you would like to speak with any member of our Wills & Probate team, please contact one of our offices in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham, Spalding, Sleaford and Newark.

Dying Matters Awareness Week 2014 runs from 12 – 18 May. The theme of the week is ‘You Only Die Once’
