Competition for a training contract is fiercer than ever and Applicants must find a way to stand out from the crowd.

Academics are still important but now we look for more well rounded candidates and people who can man-manage situations.

Here at Ringrose Law we often look to fill training places at least 12 months in advance by engaging potential new Trainee Solicitors in a Para-Legal role so that they can see the firm and we them before a contract is offered.

We are not looking for the finished article at this stage but potential and someone who ‘stands out’.

Like most firms we would expect Applicants to have done some form of work experience or had some contact with the Firm beforehand.

Work experience provides the Applicant with an insight into the work they can expect as a Trainee Solicitor.

Applicant numbers show no sign of diminishing.

Developing a personal connection with the Firm helps. If you feel you meet this criterion for a training contract then please let us know.

Ringrose Law are an established Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire based firm with 7 offices in Boston, Lincoln, Spalding, Newark, North Hykeham , Grantham and Sleaford .
