Today Thursday 5 February, Time to Change is running an annual Time to Talk Day.
Time to Change is a campaign set up to challenge the stigma attached to mental health. The Charity is run by MIND and the partners Rethink Mental Illness. The idea that everyone involved takes just 5 minutes on the 5th to have a conversation about mental health
The hope is to raise awareness of mental health and try to remove the stigma that is attached to mental health, and to remove the discrimination those who have with mental health suffer.
A simple conversation today about mental health can break the silence and open up the issue of mental health, By joining together this Thursday, the hope is to break the silence that often surrounds mental health. Talking about it doesn’t need to be difficult.
