Ringrose Law will be hosting a Charity Ball in aid of the Children’s Bereavement Centre in Newark, on Friday 5th June at Kelham Hall, Kelham.
The Children’s Bereavement Centre is a local charity based in Newark that has been established since 2002.
The centre and its outreach services, support over 500 families in the Nottinghamshire area every year who are affected by terminal illness, death or the divorce or separation of someone close. Money raised at the ball will be used to keep this much needed charity available to the children, young people and their families at what is often the most traumatic time of their lives.
Ringrose Law has been supporting the Bereavement Centre for several months now, including donating £1,000 towards the Centres new sensory garden, from the firms A Grand Idea Community Project Scheme.
Andrew Watson, Finance Director at Ringrose Law and recent board member at the Bereavement Centre comments;
“We already have a good relationship with the Centre and wanted to be able to do more. All of our colleagues at the Newark office are very keen to support the Centre and were more than happy to take on the challenge of organising a Charity Ball for the Centre.
All the proceeds from the event will be going to the Centre and we hope we can make a real difference to the people that use the centre every year.”
The Ball is taking place on Friday 5th June from 7pm at Kelham Hall and includes a champagne reception, 3-course dinner, a charity auction and live entertainment. Ticket prices start from £50 per person. To find out more or to order tickets please contact Alex Bennett at email@example.com or Amy Codd at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01636 594460.
