Domestic Abuse will not be tolerated
On Thursday 10th December Lincolnshire Police marked the official re-launch of the force’s campaign aimed at reducing alcohol-related violence and domestic abuse.
Operation NOVA (NO to Violence and Abuse) specifically aims to encourage people to say ‘No to Violence and Abuse’.
People are being urged to talk to their local neighbourhood policing teams to discuss any concerns they have.
The operation will focus on reducing violent behaviour across the county using local plans to address local concerns.
Working in partnership with the district councils, the force aims to bring a reduction in the incidence of violent behaviour, provide reassurance to communities, and positively change public perception about violent crime levels and the safety of the public.
One of the keys to that happening is that incidents are reported to the Police.
If you have any issues regarding domestic violence please contact the Family Team at our offices in Spalding, Boston, Sleaford, Grantham, Lincoln or Newark.
