This September LIVES needs cyclists across Lincolnshire to join their virtual challenge of 874 miles from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, to raise vital funds to help ensure First Responders are there for those 999 calls that no-one wants to make.

This is an epic challenge, but the best thing is you can choose how and when you cover the 874 miles, and there is no need to be using up holiday days to travel the country. You can clock up your miles by hitting the open roads of beautiful Lincolnshire or on the exercise bike in the dining room. It is your challenge your way, you just need to make sure it is recorded on Strava.

Don’t think you can manage 874 miles on your own? Then take advantage of the Team element and get your friends or work colleagues to join you and share the distance between you.

Last year LIVES Responders attended over 12,000 medical emergencies right across Lincolnshire, from a cardiac arrest to a road traffic collision; whether it is in the middle of the night or during a busy working day, they can be at a patient’s side quickly. For the calls we attend we arrive first 79% of the time. It is these vital minutes that can be the difference between life and death for so many people, but they can only do this with your help.

LIVES have teamed up with Ringrose Law on this exciting new event as their lead sponsor. Alex Bennett, Marketing Manager at Ringrose Law, explains why they chose to get involved.

“Ringrose Law have been involved in Lincs C2C2C for nearly 10 years, and over those years we have seen cycling become a real passion for many people in Lincolnshire. We have a strong team of cyclists here at the firm who love taking on this sort of challenge! We are proud to partner with LIVES on this event and give many of the cyclists we know an opportunity to take their love of cycling and apply it to this fantastic challenge.”

To ensure we can be there for everyone when they need us the most, we need your help. All the money raised from this event will go towards training, equipping, and supporting our army of Responders.
