Next week the Ringrose Law Personal Injury team will be attending the Claims Media Personal Injury Awards in Leeds, where they will find out if they have been successful for not just one but two Personal Injury Awards.
The awards celebrate the excellence of individuals and organisations across the personal injury sector. This year the team have been nominated for two awards, Claimant Team of the Year and Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year.
John Knight, Head of the Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Department has been shortlisted for Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year. John has specialised in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury for nearly 30 years and been head of the department here at Ringrose Law for over 8 years.
John’s Personal Injury work concentrates mainly on serious and complex claims arising out of matters such as major road traffic accidents; accidents at work and accidents resulting in death.
Further, John specialises in representing families at inquests which can be a very difficult time following the loss of a loved one.
As well as the above, John also helps people suffering serious injuries from assaults or crimes via claims to the Criminal Injury Compensation Authority.
In addition to his specialist legal areas, John is also the firms Senior Director and a member of the firm’s Management Board.
John also has a special interest in brain injury cases. In 2017, John became a Trustee for Headway Lincolnshire. John is passionate about helping people after they have suffered a brain or head injury. In 2014 John’s son suffered a serious head injury after a fall. John and his family have had first-hand experience of living with someone with a brain injury and fully understand the needs of a brain injured person and their family.
In the last 12 months John has dealt with some very difficult and challenging cases and worked hard to get the compensation his clients deserve to help them move forward with their lives.
