LEXCEL

Ringrose Law is delighted to announce it has received LEXCEL accreditation from the Law Society for the fifteenth year running, the longest achieving LEXCEL firm in the County.

The Lexcel award confirms that Ringrose Law offer ‘Excellence in legal practice management and client care’.

Lexcel is developed specifically for the legal profession. 

It is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

The annual accreditation involves a yearly rigorous inspection and assessment from LEXCEL. The inspection includes reviewing internal policies and procedures, interviewing staff and understanding the overall company performance.

Law Society Panel Membership

The firm also has accredited Law Society Panel Memberships for Conveyancing, Family Law, Children Law, Criminal Litigation and Higher Courts Rights – Criminal.

We are a member of the CQS (The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme), demonstrating our high standards of service when dealing with conveyancing transactions.

STEP – Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners

We have qualified members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

STEP is an organisation which sets out key ethical and professional standards its member should uphold in the field of Estate Planning. Full members of STEP are the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates.

Our current members are Nerina Farmer and Tracey Garner.

Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)

Brenda Gilligan, Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Solicitor has APIL Accreditations.

Brenda is an accredited Clinical Negligence Specialist with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and an accredited Personal Injury Specialist (Senior Litigator) with APIL.

To achieve these accreditations, lawyers have to be able to demonstrate a significant level of experience and expertise to the satisfaction of the Association. Brenda also has to demonstrate her knowledge of law and medicine, so the public have confidence when deciding who to instruct.

 

Headway Lincolnshire

Ringrose Law is proud to support Headway UK gaining corporate membership of the charity for over 10 years.

Headway is a charity that aims to promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury. In doing this it provides information, support, and services to survivors of brain injury, their families, and carers.

In particular, Headway Lincolnshire works locally with families and brain injury survivors providing the best support and care available to them and helping people re-build their lives.

In addition, John Knight Head of the Personal Injury Team at Ringrose Law and Solicitor Laura Hamilton are both Trustees for the Headway Lincolnshire Board.

John comments; “Brain injuries can have a very serious impact on a survivor’s life. We see the harsh reality of this whilst representing clients with brain injuries and so aligned ourselves with Headway to build the best support network we can for those who have had a serious head or brain injury.

Corporate membership of Headway allows us to stay up to date with the latest information from those closest to brain injury victims.”

Resolution

Resolution is a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.

Resolution was founded in 1982 by a group of family lawyers who believed that a non-confrontational approach to family law issues would produce better outcomes for separating families and their children.

Ringrose Law was delighted to be one of the first businesses in Lincoln to join the Lincoln Social Responsibility Charter in 2018.

‘The Charter encourages organisations in Lincoln to undertake activities which benefit their employees and also the local community in which they are located.’ The Charter was set up by the City of Lincoln Council.

At Ringrose Law we work really hard to ensure that we give back to the local community where we live and work. Becoming members of this Charter just reinforces the good work that we do not only in our community but also in looking after our employee’s wellbeing.
