Charley joined the firm in July 2019 having worked in family law in the Cambridgeshire region for over 11 years.
Charley has experience representing parents in cases involving the Local Authority and private law disputes between parents and also immediate family members.
Charley has successfully represented grandparents on applications for Special Guardianship Orders and continues to advise in this area of law.
She regularly undertakes her own advocacy ensuring continuity wherever possible, including representing vulnerable adults, cases involving neglect, drug and alcohol issues, domestic violence and non-accidental injuries. Charley has represented clients who require the benefit of the Official Solicitor and intermediaries.
Charley also has experience with injunctions and Occupation Orders, both applying for and opposing. She has a knowledge of general family law and incorporates this into her daily work.
Free Children Law Clinic
At Boston we hold a free family clinic for children matters on the last Friday of each month.
Charley is able to offer free initial advice as part of this service and can sign post you in the right direction if necessary.
