About Lauren Kerse
Lauren Kerse is a Solicitor in the Personal Injury Department at Ringrose Law.
Lauren specialises in medical negligence claims on behalf of Claimants with a range of cases including surgical errors, delay in diagnosing cancer, delay in treatment, and missed fractures among many others. Lauren’s previous experience also involves claims involving negligence resulting in DVT and pulmonary emboli, cauda equina cases, hip replacement surgery and also delay in treatment causing stroke.
Lauren graduated in 2006 from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Law degree. While in New Zealand she practised as a Barrister and Solicitor, with her advocacy highlights being a criminal appeal where she successfully quashed a conviction and acting as junior counsel on a family appeal concerning economic disparity in relationship property division.
Lauren relocated to the UK in 2012 and started working in the medical negligence field as a Paralegal while she studied to qualify as a UK Solicitor. After successfully completing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme, she was admitted as a UK solicitor on 4 January 2016.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys travelling around the UK and Europe. Closer to home she enjoys baking and reading.
