About Lyn Jahangir
Lyn is a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate and her areas of specialism are Children Law both Public and Private matters. Lyn is a Member of the Law Society Children Panel and has been for over 10 Years. Lyn’s specialism in respect of Children Panel membership is Adult Party representative.
Lyn was the second Legal Executive in England and Wales to obtain membership of the Law Society Children Panel. She has many years’ experience involving care cases. Her other area of specialism is in domestic violence/domestic abuse matters and recently has developed an interest in international child abduction cases.
Lyn has regularly appeared as an advocate in the Family Court (both in the County Court and in the Magistrates’ Court). She practiced law in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and previously in Lincolnshire. Lyn is also the Chair of a Domestic Abuse Support Charity in West Norfolk and has retained this office despite returning to work in Lincolnshire. Generally Lyn undertakes representation on final contested hearings. Lyn has over 20 years’ experience as a Legal Executive and likes to approach cases on the basis of reasonableness and common sense although will “fight her client’s corner”.
When not at work Lyn enjoys walking, swimming, flower arranging, attending art class and reading. Lyn also enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
