We are delighted to announce we are taking part in this year’s Prince’s Trust Million Makers Corporate Challenge.

Million Makers is a national competition, challenging teams of employees and university students to collectively raise £1million for the Princes Trust, and make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK.

The Million Makers Challenge involves us turning an initial investment of £1,500 of seed funding and turning it into a fundraising profit of £10,000, through establishing and running a mini enterprise.

In July, we presented our business plan proposal to a Dragon’s Den style panel interview consisting of a board of local directors; we successfully passed the panel and have since been busy putting our plans into place.

The team will be working with 10 primary schools across Lincolnshire and Newark to produce a Christmas Carol CD, each school will record one Christmas Carol and then perform the carol at a charity Carol Concert being held at Lincoln Cathedral on Thursday 22nd November. The Carol Concert will also include a raffle, refreshments and of course Santa and his elves! Tickets will be going on sale to the general public at the beginning of October.

Robert Breckon, Solicitor and Team Leader comments;

“Plans are well underway for our project and we will begin recording the CD in the next few days. We have already received fantastic support from the local business community and believe the Carol Concert on the 22nd November will be a great event.”

Tickets for the concert will be going on sale in October (£5 for adults, £2.50 for children aged 12-18yrs and under 12’s go free)  if you would like to buy a ticket, donate a raffle prize, buy a CD or receive updates on our progress please contact Alex Gray at alex.gray@ringroselaw.co.uk or follow us on twitter @Ringroselaw.
