We are delighted to announce that we have moved our Newark Office. As of 1st December we will be operating from the impressive Grade II listed property Sketchley House on Castlegate, Newark (formerly the Holden’s building).

The move marks a significant step for the firm, after establishing an office in Newark six years ago, we have built a strong reputation in the town and today’s move demonstrates our growth and commitment to Newark.

Since our arrival in 2010, we have expanded our team significantly in Newark, now employing over 15 members of staff at the Newark Office, the new office will also be home to our Commercial and Litigation teams, enabling them to serve their clients in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and across the East Midlands.

We have developed good working relations with other businesses and the local community in the town. Amy Codd, from our Wills & Probate team is the Chair of the Newark Business Club and works hard to build local relations and campaign for local businesses in Newark.

We have also worked with many local charities and community projects in the town and in particular have supported Beaumond House and the Children’s Bereavement centre. In 2014 we funded and helped with the build of the sensory garden at the Children’s Bereavement Centre, which is very much in use today for the young families of Newark. Most recently we donated £1,000 to Newark Dementia Carers Group, to help facilitate social activities for the group.

Julie Atkinson, Partner based at Newark commented;

“The team are really excited about the move to Sketchley House , the building is extremely welcoming for the staff and clients and the extra space will provide a comfortable space for clients. Moving into larger premises in Newark demonstrates our commitment to the town, we hope to continue to offer a diverse, first class service to our local clients.”

The office will be having an Open Day on Friday 9th December from 10am, members of the public are welcome to come and look around the offices, meet the team and enter into a free prize draw to win a Christmas Hamper.
