Congratulations to Pupcakes Rescue Centre, the winners of the Ringrose Law ‘A Grand Idea’ for Spalding.

Pupcakes Rescue Centre in Quadring rescues and re-homes abandoned dogs. Currently they have 14 dogs in their care, and more in foster homes, but this number continues to rise. This money will be put towards improving their kennel block with internal insulation, external cladding and materials to prepare the ground for the Astro turf so it’s nice for the dogs. This donation will go to completing the project later this year.

On hearing the great news, Liz Seal who runs the Centre with her partner commented;

So many dogs need help. We have to turn away hundreds of dogs a week because we simply do not have the space. With this kennel block we would be able to help so many more. We rescue and rehabilitate and rehome dogs who have nowhere else to go. And provide them with a lifetime safety net.

Thank you to Ringrose Law and to everyone who voted for us, this really does mean the world to us.”

The project ‘A Grand Idea’, was first launched 2013. The project has supported over 15 local charities, groups and voluntary organisations across Lincolnshire and Newark.

Alex Bennett, Marketing Manager at Ringrose Law comments;

“We had some fantastic entries from local community groups and charities in Spalding. After shortlisting the top five projects we opened up a public vote. We are delighted that Pupcakes Rescue Centre has won.”

Ringrose Law has always supported the local community and given to charity;

We are always keen to engage with the community whenever we can and support a wide variety of sports teams, charities and local community projects across Lincolnshire and Newark.

This year we really want to make an impact in our community and leave a lasting legacy which will benefit lots of people for years to come. A Grand Idea offers every local project, however big or small, the chance to enter into this fantastic opportunity of winning £1,000.”
