The National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV), launched in 2002 “provides a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.”

The award-winning free service allows anyone who has recently suffered or been threatened with domestic abuse or violence to apply for an emergency court injunction. Since the Pandemic began last March, NCDV has been helping on average 9,000 victims of Domestic Abuse every month, prior to the pandemic it was an average of 7,000 victims a month.

The Domestic Abuse Team at Ringrose Law is one of only 40 panel members of Solicitors across the Country. To become a panel member the team had to complete a rigorous application form and interview process, demonstrating their capabilities, experience and knowledge in supporting victims of Domestic Abuse.

The Children Law team at Ringrose law is run by Costa Kyriacou – Finalist for Employee of the Year at this month’s Lincolnshire Business Awards. The team is one of the largest in the County and has seen a significant increase in children and domestic abuse services since the pandemic started 12 months ago.

“Our team have been representing victims of Domestic Abuse for many years now, dealing with some of the most complex and challenging cases across the County. Our team is one of the biggest Domestic Abuse teams in Lincolnshire.

Sadly, we have seen a huge increase in children and domestic abuse work over the last 12 months and this continues to rise every week.

Working together with NCDV is a great opportunity for us to help even more victims of Domestic Abuse across the region.”
