We are pleased to announce the promotion of Bekkie Freitas, Solicitor to the firm’s Partnership with effect from 1st May 2021.

Bekkie is currently a Senior Associate and Solicitor in the firm’s Criminal Law and Personal Injury departments.

Bekkie joined the firm in 2014 as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury Team. Bekkie qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and soon after followed her life-long passion working in the Criminal Law team. Bekkie represents clients at Police Stations, Magistrates Courts and Crown Courts in a wide range of cases- from theft matters to sexual assault and murder cases. She also specialises in youth cases both at the police station and in the Youth Court. Bekkie has worked with some high-profile clients over the last few years and her cases are regularly mentioned in the local press.

Bekkie also continues to represent and support personal injury clients, including clients who may have had an accident at work, road traffic accident or public liability claim.

On hearing the news of her promotion, Bekkie comments;

“I am absolutely delighted to become a partner at Ringrose Law. From being the office junior many years ago and starting back as a temp in 2014, after completing my university degree, to be offered partnership 7 years later, is a dream come true!

I am very excited for the future, to continue representing and assisting clients and working with my amazing colleagues and thank Ringrose Law for this opportunity.”

Away from the day job, Bekkie is a Mentor for Law Students at the University of Lincoln and an active member of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, representing Women in the Workplace on the Chamber Assembly.

Bekkie is also a member of the firm’s staff engagement committee and takes an active role in supporting the marketing team! You can often find Bekkie at most events including Boston Bike Night, the Lincoln Dragon Boat Race and charity fundraising events!
