Applying for a work experience placement at Ringrose Law is a simple process designed to give everyone a fair opportunites.
This placement was a really great opportunity and it has given me some really useful insight into possible areas I may pursue in the future.
Overall, I enjoyed both days of the work experience and it was a really good insight into the different departments, especially with seeing some cases you go through and the realities of being a solicitor. I really enjoyed the family/children department and Costa was really good at explaining the different areas of the law which is used in that department which was really useful considering my limited knowledge on that area. Clinical neg/Personal injury was also really useful with learning about how they assess the claims and the task I did was quite interesting, especially when using case law. Being with reception was also relatively helpful to see the behind the scenes and whilst in discrimination, the quiz I did was actually quite helpful in getting a basic understanding of what you deal with on a daily basis.”
