Sustainability

We continuously look to improve our environmental performance and carbon footprint through the implementation of environmentally friendly policies and processes.

Our Commitment

We acknowledge that running our business has an impact on society. We have a responsibility to our clients, our employees and suppliers as well as the broader community in which we operate.

This is one of the reasons we are proud members of the Lincoln Social Responsibility Charter and supporting community and sustainability initiatives.

We are committed to taking responsibility for our actions and encourage a positive contribution towards improving standards for our clients and employees, minimising our impact on the environment and improving the quality of the local community.

Our Initiatives

  • In 2020 we launched our paper-lite commitment into the firm and have considerably reduced the amount of paper we use on a day to day basis.
  • Introduced Perfect Portal – our online portal for clients for the sharing of documents with clients and vice versa, removing the need for hard copies.
  • Use flexible working for our staff to reduce their travel to and from the office.
  • Offering video meetings to clients where appropriate.
  • Conducting free telephone clinics for a variety of our legal services.
  • Using local suppliers where possible to reduce our carbon footprint and invest back into our local economy.
  • Recycling stations available in all offices.
  • When choosing new equipment, we consider their environmental credentials as part of the specification process.
  • Minimising our consumption of natural resources and manage waste through responsible disposal and recycling, eg: re-use of paper and ink cartridges; installation of new LED lighting throughout our offices; development of technology leading to more electronic communications and development of our online client portal.
