Rebecca Freitas’ nomination is a testament to her unwavering commitment to ensuring access to justice for those in need. As the Head of the Criminal Law team at Ringrose Law, Rebecca has consistently demonstrated her expertise and passion for criminal defence, making significant impacts in her field.
LAPG CEO, Chris Minnoch, commented on this year’s nominations: “Team LALY sends its warmest congratulations to all our finalists. The standard of entries was exceptional and is a testament to the resilience, professionalism, and sheer humanity of those on the social justice front line. We are particularly pleased to be able to honour not just the lawyers and caseworkers but also the support staff, who are so often the glue that keeps these organizations together to ensure their colleagues can continue to deliver access to justice.”
The winners in the 11 award categories will be announced at a central London ceremony on July 5, along with the recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Achievement award, the highest honour the LALY judges can bestow.
