Ringrose Law is celebrating a double award shortlisting this March, having been named a finalist in the CSR Award category at the Legal Growth Awards on 17 March in Grantham and the Community Champion Award at the Lincolnshire Business Awards later in the month.
The recognition reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility and meaningful community engagement across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands.
With over 100 years’ experience, Ringrose Law believes its responsibility extends beyond delivering legal services. Guided by its principle “where individuals count”, the firm embeds community support, sustainability and inclusion into its culture and day-to-day operations.
Among its flagship initiatives is the Lincoln Dragon Boat Race, organised by the firm since 2016. The event has raised money for local charities while bringing together businesses, families and community groups from across the county. Ringrose Law is also a long-term organising partner of the Lincs C2C2C Cycle Ride, which supports local charities every year.
Beyond major fundraising events, the firm supports a wide range of organisations including Lincolnshire YMCA, St Barnabas Hospice, EDAN Lincs, Headway Lincolnshire and Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Every member of staff is given a dedicated volunteer day each year, and the firm actively participates in initiatives such as Cash4Kids Mission Christmas, helping support thousands of children and families locally.
Environmental responsibility also forms part of the firm’s CSR strategy, with a move to paperlite working reducing paper usage by over 50% in two years, alongside ongoing green initiatives, staff away days at Hill Holt Wood and community litter-picking projects.
Alex Bennett, Head of Marketing at Ringrose Law, said:
“We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted for both awards. Corporate social responsibility is not a separate programme at Ringrose Law – it is part of who we are and plays a key part in our marketing strategy,
Our people live and work in the communities we support, and we are passionate about giving back in ways that create lasting impact. These nominations are a testament to the dedication of our team and the strength of our local partnerships.”
Ringrose Law looks forward to celebrating alongside fellow finalists later this month while continuing its commitment to supporting people, places and progress across the region.
