About Erin & Ollie
My name is Erin, and I am a Discrimination Paralegal for the Equality and Discrimination team at Ringrose law. I graduated from the University of Lincoln with an LLB Law Degree in September 2024 alongside my assistance dog Ollie.
Ollie is a multipurpose assistance dog, specialising in cardiac alert and response. He has been with me for over 4 and half years providing me with assistance in everyday tasks. Not only can Ollie detect heart rate spikes and blood pressure drops, but he can provide guiding assistance to help follow a trusted person or take me somewhere safe when needed. Ollie’s favourite task is picking up and carrying dropped items for me.
Ollie is a golden retriever. Some of his favourite things are cuddles, plush toys, rolling in muddy puddles and swimming. His best friend is another golden retriever called Teddy, they spend a lot of time running around and playing.
Ollie comes everywhere with me from the hospital, to work and to events. He enjoys his work isn’t fazed by anything. Everyone at Ringrose Law loves their new four-legged office buddy.
