Give a Day to a Cause Your Care About
Every member of the Ringrose Law team receives one fully paid volunteer day each year to spend however they choose, on whatever cause means most to them.
From national charities to small local organisations, the choice belongs entirely to the individual. Whether that’s supporting a foodbank, helping at an animal sanctuary, or running a crèche at a specialist conference, the aim is simple: to give everyone the chance to make a difference in a cause that matters to them.
Centrepoint, Boston
Elizabeth Steadman, Commercial Conveyancing Secretary & Paige Anderson, Residential Conveyancing Senior Caseworker
Liz and Paige spent their volunteering day at Centrepoint Outreach, an independent Boston charity supporting homeless and vulnerable individuals across the local community. They served meals in the drop-in centre, helped sort donated clothing and supplies, and spent time speaking with clients and fellow volunteers — gaining a genuine insight into the vital, day-to-day support the charity provides.
Children's Bereavement Centre
Alex Bennett, Head of Marketing & Bethany Kay-Wright, Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Solicitor
Alex and Bethany volunteered with The Children’s Bereavement Centre in Newark, a charity providing specialist support to children and families navigating bereavement and loss. Working at a fundraising event at a local garden centre, they spent the day speaking with members of the public, raising awareness of the charity’s services and helping connect people with the support available to them.
The Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary
Philippa Dowse, Child Law Paralegal
Pip spent her volunteering day at The Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary in Huttoft, Alford, a sanctuary providing lifelong care for donkeys that relies entirely on donations and volunteer support. She helped with a range of practical tasks, spent time caring for the animals, and met some of the sanctuary’s oldest residents, many now well into their forties.
Headway Lincolnshire
John Knight, Senior Director & Head of Personal Injury & Medical Negligence
John joined Headway Lincolnshire, a charity he also serves as a Trustee, for a weekend trip to Calvert Trust near Keswick, bringing together brain injury survivors, family members and carers for a programme of outdoor activities including canoeing, zip wiring and catamaran rides. The trip was made possible through generous support from C2C2C (Castle to Coast to Coast).

More Than Good Business
We work with people at some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That proximity to hardship carries a responsibility. Not just to do good work, but to understand the communities we serve.
Our Staff Volunteer Days scheme deepens that understanding. When our team members spend time at a homeless shelter, a bereavement charity, or a brain injury support group, they return with something that can’t be taught in a training room.
We’re proud of what our people choose to do with their volunteer day, and proud to support them in doing it.
