About Stephen
Stephen is an Australian Qualified Solicitor having been admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Australia) in December 2021.
Stephen currently plans to become dual qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales. As Stephen is not currently qualified as a Solicitor in the UK, he joined the Dispute Resolution Department of Ringrose Law as a Litigation Assistant in May 2023 and works under the supervision of the Head of the Department.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen spent the early part of his professional career at a Law Firm in Wollongong Australia practicing Business and Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution, and Commercial Litigation. Beforehand Stephen had also spent 2.5 years with the same firm as a law clerk working part-time whilst he completed his University studies.
Education
In 2020, Stephen graduated from the University of Wollongong Australia, obtaining a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) with distinction. In 2021, he went on to complete Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law Australia.
From September 2023, Stephen will be starting to study a LLM Sports Law degree from Nottingham Trent University.
Interests
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys playing cricket for his club in West Bridgford, visiting distant relatives, and exploring what England has to offer.
