  • Are you afraid of your partner?
  • Do you feel isolated?
  • Does your partner cut you off from family and friends?
  • Is your partner jealous and possessive?
  • Does your partner humiliate or insult you?
  • Does your partner verbally abuse you?
  • Does your partner say you are useless and you couldn’t cope without them?
  • Does your partner physically hurt you?
  • Does your partner shove, slap, punch or kick you?
  • Has your partner threatened to hurt you or people close to you?
  • Does your partner constantly criticise you?
  • Does your partner have sudden changes of mood which dominate the household?
  • Is your partner charming one minute and abusive the next?
  • Does your partner control your money?
  • Do you change your behaviour to avoid triggering an attack?
  • Are you unsure of your own judgement?
  • Does your partner damage your possessions?
  • Does your partner threaten to harm or kill the pets?
  • Does your partner threaten to kidnap or get custody of the children?
  • Does your partner lock you out of the house during an argument?
  • Does your partner tell you what to wear or how to do your hair?
