One of the top stories in the news this week is with regards to the missing mum who has disappeared with her son after a Court Order ruled that he should live with his father. One of the reasons the Court made this decision is due to the mother being disruptive and frustrating with the contact.

The children’s welfare is always the most important and a Judge would have based his decision on reports from various professionals.

If a Court Order is continually breached then enforcement proceedings can have severe consequences by way of a fine, community order or even a custodial sentence.

For further information and advice with regards Court Orders or access to your children please contact the family department at one of our offices who can assist with enforcement proceedings if necessary.
