Laura has built her experience in Dispute Resolution, initially specialising in Intellectual Property and contentious Insolvency, before focusing more on Insolvency in later years. In addition, Laura has for the most part of her career continued to balance her practice with various commercial and private litigation matters.
Laura has a number of years experience working with Insolvency Practitioners dealing with antecedent recoveries and the realisation of assets into insolvent estates. She can also advise individuals and organisations in opposing insolvency actions being taken against them.
In addition, Laura will also assist personal and commercial clients with various issues, including breach of contract, negligent supply of goods or services and certain property related matters.
Laura has a particular attention to detail and will take the time to cover all relevant options with her clients before they embark upon a chosen course of action.
Background
Laura completed her training contract with a leading regional firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2009. She remained with that firm as an Assistant Solicitor in their Dispute Resolution Department and became an Associate in 2017.

Laura lived in various parts of the UK before settling in the area a number of years back. Laura obtained her LLB Law degree from the University of Nottingham. She went on to study her Legal Practice Course at the Nottingham Law School.
