Esme studied her Bachelor of Law as a mature student through The Open University and went on to achieve her Master of Law at Nottingham Trent University. Following this she joined the Ringrose Law as a Paralegal in the Children Law team in June 2019. She obtained her Training Contract in February 2021 and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2022.
In Summer 2023, Esme Hobbs achieved the prestigious Resolution Accredited Specialist status with specialisms in private children and domestic abuse,
Esme has experience in both private and public law children matters and regularly undertakes her own advocacy.
She regularly represents victims of domestic abuse in both obtaining injunctions and within children matters. Esme has worked in a voluntary capacity within Domestic Abuse Support for many years, and this is something she is passionate about. She has transferred the skills she has learnt in supporting victims of domestic abuse into her legal career.
