Amy has over eight years’ experience working in Children Law, both as a Legal Officer for the local authority, and also as a Legal Assistant at a local firm.
As a Legal Assistant, Amy was responsible for the day to day running of cases when acting for parents where the Local Authority had issued proceedings against them in relation to their children.
Amy has had extensive involvement in a number of cases across all court tiers – from Magistrates to High and County Courts – and in cases involving neglect, non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Amy mainly covers public law children with some private law children cases and injunction cases involving domestic violence.
Amy is a member of the Domestic Abuse Team at Ringrose Law and can assist victims of Domestic Abuse.
